HomeAid's Maintenance Services give homeowners in St. Johns and Duval Counties a new way of taking care of their homes. Using a subscription based model, HomeAid provides oversight for all of a home's maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
"I've had the honor of helping tens of thousands of homeowners with their home maintenance. From leading property maintenance teams across some of the biggest names in property management, like Camden Property Trust, Greystar, The Richman Group, and ZRS - to leading maintenance for operations for Zillow's Florida markets - to overseeing the entire maintenance department for one of the top five proptech companies in the US, I know home maintenance inside and out," says Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Justin Dennis.
He explains, "There's a gap between renting and owning a home. Maintenance is hard. Preventive maintenance plans aren't one size fits all, things break and you may get a different opinion on what you need to do and how much it will cost depending on who you call, and it's hard to plan for replacements of large ticket items (like appliances or roofs) all on your own.
Whether you are transitioning from renting to owning for the first time, you have been a homeowner for years and would like someone to help with maintenance, or you are considering selling your house and renting because the upkeep is too much, HomeAid can help you."
He adds, "There has yet to be an all encompassing service where homeowners can have the same worry free maintenance experience they have when they're living in someone else's property. Until now."
HomeAid partners with homeowners to identify the current state of their home, discover any deficiencies, plan future projects, and help set up a maintenance road map.
"We may go into a house to help fix a few minor issues, but discover the roof will need replacing in the next five years. We walk through what that might look like, what the estimated cost will be, and help the homeowner appropriately budget for that repair so it doesn't come as a surprise. Then, when it's time for replacement, we'll set the homeowner up with one of our highly rated vendors to ensure the work is done right at a competitive price. We'll be there every step of the way."
Based out of Nocatee, HomeAid launched in June 2023. They currently serve both St. Johns and Duval Counties with plans to expand in the future.
